Hotlinking is baaaad m’kay?
Clearly, the dickwads using MySpace to blog were discouraged by Bio’s rather nasty (but oh so funny!) image replacement when they hotlinked, so decided that the sexyoldwoman.jpg on my server was a better target.
So, after some .htaccess rewrite rule fun, the aforementioned dickwads now get the image below when they directly link to images on my website.
Yeah, it might be a little more polite (although I secretly wanted the image to be nasty), but figured, a little education might work.

So… I decided to amuse myself. I could just as easily just give them a 1pixel by 1pixel image (which is better, in my opinion that refusing the image and filling my logs with 404 errors), but it’s my bandwidth, I want to get something out of it (those smacktards over at opendirviewer.com get the 1×1 pixel crap).
