Damn them butt-wiggling Brazilians…
Well we lost 2-0. It could have been way worse though. I awoke from a dream that we lost 10-0, so the reality was excellent in that respect!
Mind you, keeping them scoreless for the first half was way, WAY good. Considering we aren’t even a blip in the soccer radar of the world, to be beaten only 2-0 is a damn good effort. We HAVE beaten them before, so I was sincere in my delusional state optimism from Friday!
Now, all we have to do is at least DRAW with Croatia on Friday night. Making it past round 1 is more than, I think, most people expect, so we should damn well do it just to prove them wrong!
In other news, health-wise, I’m on my third course of antibiotics which are due to finish tomorrow, and, although I have been feeling much better, yesterday I had a return to some pain, so I don’t know what’s going on with that! Back to the Doctor I guess.
On the work front, I’m feeling less like a rudderless boat, and am finally feeling a bit more competent, plus I’m doing something I know I’m good at, and that’s writing. Started on an organisational communications policy and guidelines, which I feel MUCH better about doing rather than quasi-graphic design stuff at which I’m a rank amateur! (How many times can I say, God bless Photoshop). See? The Internet isn’t a waste of time. If it wasn’t for my arsing around on the “Photoshop This” thread at Bio’s forum, I would have been buggered!

Damn it… now I’m gonna have to update that forum with a new image (and perhaps do something with an image I upload).
Keep on top of the whole health thing. If it’s still bugging you, or if it gets worse…. don’t delay! See that Doctor (he gets paid by the visit… and he wants a new sports car, so it’s win-win all the way around!).
