Breathing is fun!
Well, hasn’t this been the week from hell.
I wanted to post a little earlier that I was feeling a bit better, but frankly, I felt better on Tuesday then felt like CRAP on Wednesday, so I didn’t want to tempt fate again!
I also didn’t realise that apart from the difficulty breathing thing, pneumonia is PAINFUL. Apparently it’s due to the fact that the lung sac linings are inflamed, then rub against each-other, resulting in the terrible pain in breathing. Also, someone did this to me! The pneumonia I have is bacterial, caused by someone with the infection coughing and me breathing the droplets in! YUCK!
Last night I was finally able to sleep lying down, although I woke up about five times during the night. Breathing was much more painful lying down up until last night, so I have been sleeping sitting up in an armchair. I am SO tired.
Now on my second round of antibiotics, and thankfully, tomorrow is a Public Holiday down here, so I am not due to go back to work until Tuesday. Stressing about work still, but hope that I can get in there on Tuesday and make it through the whole day.
On another note, I heart Google yet again. Even though Firefox comes with its own Google search box (yes, there IS an alternative to Internet Explorer), I installed the Google Toolbar, because it has additional features including SPELL CHECK! Yes, the Google Toolbar spell check feature will check your spelling in any web forms you fill-in (including post forms in Wordpress), which beats the hell out of copy and pasting your posts into Word to run a spell-check over. So, if you’re a rabid forum or bulletin-board poster (and you don’t want to look like an uneducated troll), I totally recommend this little piece of genius.
I also read (OK listened to) “The Google Story”, the book by David Vise and Mark Malsteed. The Google guys are truly the opposite of Bill Gates. The more I read about Google, the more interesting it gets. Another highly recommended read.
Anyhow, I’m going to drag my carcass through the shower and head off to the shops for a treat. It’s been a week since I had a Gloria Jeans Mocha Caramel Latte, and I reckon I deserve one.
Oh, and Bio, thanks for the shout-out! You are my favouritest person on the whole interweb!
See ya!

Thanks for stopping by Jennifer
Yes, I totally agree about Google. They are so completely different from Microsoft aren’t they.
