GODDAMN INTERNET EXPLORER (and the people that don’t switch to Firefox)
WHY THE F@CK doesn’t IE render this theme correctly. There’s a HUGE gap in the google earth post when viewed in IE.. WHY WHY WHY!
Seriously, been looking for a theme that renders properly in IE ALL DAY. Goddamn Microsoft to hell.
Don’t want to put the work into the theme if it is going to look like shyte in the end.
It’s not that the theme is broken, it’s perfectly good and valid code, it’s just that IE is a FUCKED UP browser that just breaks things!
I should just say SCREW YOU to those using IE, but dammit, many of my readers do.
Anyhow, I’m just gonna head off into the corner and cry.
Normal programming will resume.. eventually.

I kinda gave up on IE at one point. While it’s more forgiving on the html end, it has issues with CSS and PHP. I tried to make my sites work in both, but finally gave up on the glitches in IE. It’s enough to drive you insane.
Microsoft wrote their own standard and ignores what the rest of the damn world is doing.
So, just put up a disclaimer that states: “These pages were written to CSS/PHP specifications. If you’re looking at it with Internet Explorer, and it looks funky… get a browser that actually follows the rules!”
Post a couple of screen shots showing the difference, then a link to firefox.
If they don’t switch after seeing what the web should look like, well then… that’s their choice.

It drives me INSANE. Trouble is, 73% of my readers use Internet Explorer. (crying at the general non-geekiness of my readership).
These are also the people who are with Telstra for their Internet (the most expensive and least value for money ISP in Australia), because they like to stick with a big, well-known name (and either can’t be bothered, or are too clueless to seek out alternatives).
I DO like the disclaimer though. Might put it in the footer lol
