I’m posting about Andy because…
… in a rash moment of joy and gratitude, I said I was going to a WHOLE post about what a legend he is.
You see, I did mention in a previous post about how much easier it is to modify pre-packaged themes in Wordpress as opposed to Mambo, and it is, if you know a little about CSS and how to insert the tags into PHP pages. For the best part, I was going okay, converting the theme from the way it was (below) to how it is now.
Anyhow, I got stuck with my side menu, as the link items wanted to remain purple and bold like the links in the main body and I wanted them to be different! I had been fiddling for two days trying to work it out, as it wasn’t just a matter of a straightforward different link category in the CSS (which is the limit of my confident fiddling!)
In steps Andy, and quick as a flash, it’s fixed!
Now Andy isn’t just your regular internet chump. He’s a published author, runs a website for parents on kids’ games, and, if he could just find the time to add some quality content to his blog on a regular basis, would be completely Internetically perfect!
But, I’ll forgive him for his blog shortcomings, because, at least in terms of CSS and PHP, he ROCKS!
