Sadly, I’m back at work, so the time I enjoyed making very frequent entries here is now spent slaving away for paid reward. Although the reward isn’t bad, I would much rather be writing here let me tell you!

Today I’m going to rely on Guy Kawasaki, one of the guys originally responsible for the success of the Apple Macintosh, and now writer for Forbes Magazine, for some deep and meaningful content.

I know that I have a few fairly young readers (those finishing school or in their early twenties) and I think the text of a speech Guy presented as a graduation address on “Hindsights would be a good read. It definitely was for me.

Guy did some research on people’s hindsights on life. What they would have done differently if they had another chance. I wish I would have had this advice when I was younger (though, knowing me, I probably would have poo-poo’d it), but from my lofty grumpy old woman heights, there is definitely a few there I completely agree with. I won’t go into the details now, as I want you to read the article, but when you’re done and come back, my hot tips are numbers 9, 8, 7, 6, 4 and 1.

These are the ones I would have suggested to Guy if he had interviewed me when doing his research.

Trust me, younguns reading this, come back in 20 years and you’ll be telling me you agree!
